Yes your car has a virus therefore the green snot looking stuff. Give her two anitbotics with a meal each morning and than drive her hard for an hour or two on a long twisty road. Stop at a roadside diner for a cup of hot coffee and some chat with other road going BMW drivers. Call me in the morning.

Sorry, just kidding Tom and MIke are correct!

Thanks guys. I thought I had a leak somewhere in the system. I'm so glad I asked before I brought it in.

Now that is an Rx I wouldn't mind taking. I may need you to prescibe a refill in the very near future.[driving]

At least you asked before taking it to service. When I got my first 2004 330cic, there were literally small puddles of that yellow/greenish slime all over the garage floor. I was so freaked out, I made a service appt. for the next day. Needless, to say they had a good laugh (but trying to make me feel better, they said people come in all the time freaked out for the slime 'pouring" out from under the car). :)

I worked in a Chevy prep center and it was such a PITA to get the cosmoline off of the paint. We had to use a special chemical since it would not wash off with soap and water.

I still think I hold the honor for "n00biest question". My tire pressure warning light came on and I posted "how can I tell if I've got a flat tire?" [hah]
