Yesterday i noticed my brake lights staying on. My dad and I fixed it, but when I took that lower panel off, this part came down too, and the clip holding it broke [?|]. Now my question is, what is it and what does it do?[???1]

yea...now that i know where it is, i'm toying with the idea of disconnecting it. When ever i wash it at work, i can hear it about 2 car lengths away, even over the city noises.

LOL....the picture you posted just makes me want to snip the wires and tape them up with elect ends. If it bugs ya, clip it and tuck it up.[;)]

Hey, how come my 97 has no door chime? All it is for is, "Hey dude....your keys are still in the ignition, take them out or your ass is calling a locksmith unless you got a extra set of keys!"....LOL

yea...really...thats pretty much its only use. Do you think getting rid of that would take away the warning for not turning off the lights? Because that would be a baaaad thing for me [paranoid]

I must be nice to have a warning that your lights are still on.

Mine could care less..... it just laughs at me i'm sure.... "good job dumbash, notice the shiney things on every corner of me, wait till you get back, hope it isn't cold outside! hahahahahahaha" Luckily the actual headlights turn off with the ignition, otherwise i would have been in baaaad shape a few times.

Anyway i'm sure the light warning uses the same speaker.
