Dome light comes on when driving

I have a 92 325i and my dome light comes on when i'm driving. I'm pretty sure it's my driver's side door because when I push on the door the light turns on. When I open the door I can't find the switch in the door jamb. Where exactly is the dome light switch? Is it inside the door?

...when I first got my Bimmer I spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out where the switch is....it's in the door latch. The cylinder-like thing that the door latches to. There's a small platic rectangle which is the switch. Hope that helps. Good luck man. Sean

Mine currently has the same problem on the passenger side. The small button just seems to have worn down too much.

I found the switch and it was the problem. I unscrewed it and tried to adjust it but I stripped one of the screws. So now I have to buy a new striker plate along with the screws. The guys at Bavauto were very helpful
