E36 2door Brakelights on a 4Door Sedan?

E36 2door Tail Lights on a 4Door Sedan?

I'm trying to get replacement Tail Lights for my 4D e36 Sedan and notice that there seem to be 2Door and 4Door replacement lights.

Are either of these Tail lights compatible with the 4D Sedan, or do I need to use the 4D Tail lights only?

Last I heard, the 4dr are a different size, not for sure 100 percent. Just what I got from my research. Hope this helps. Would like to hear if anyone else got 4dr tails on a 2 dr.[???1]

I have a 4 door and my buddy has the 2 door and yes there is a difference. Good luck, I just bought a set of Tail lights of e-bay for 100 bucks and they are pretty slick you might want to consider that rather than paying to much for original.
