iv been looking at getting clear taillights... i would like the crystal type ones that are nice and reflective..

i already ordered my corners and thats no bid deal but i dont want low quality tails that get water inside and look bad...

so does any body have any experience... or currently use any of the clear tails that are floating around on ebay

also what other parts have pplz here ordered off ebay?

i found a front strut bar for $15 any reason i should not get it?

phew, i thought you were falling to the darkside man. Most Taillight kits on BMW's look like complete crap, but the ones you posted aren't bad at all. No experience with taillights though.

As far as the strut bar, that depends on what kind it is, and if you can tell wheter or not it's in good shape. Post a link to the sale. It sounds like a good price, but you never know.

Do a search for the seller's name "REVOTEC" --I bought my clear tail lights for my 98 328is for $150. They are BMW OEM tail lights that retail at the dealer for $284. He also has the BMW OEM clear corners for $65.00. No sides though, I had to go to the dealer to get the sides. His side markers are cheapies from Taiwan that didn't fit. I'd go with the OEM ones if you don't want leaks....

I've actually bought all my clear corners from eBay, but they were all OEM. When I bought my first clear corner tailights, they were DOA and I got screwed; no money back no responses. That's what I guess I get for a cheap imitation. Then on eBay I tried again but this time with OEM, and all is well. Regarding the the strut bar, that thing looks like a piece of heinous shite. No offense if you already bought, and if you did, I'd be curious to know how it actually is once you get it. But based on the picture and price, remember, if it looks to good to be true it probably is. And a $13 strut brace I think falls into the above category.

E-bay stuff

Here is a few pics of my baby!!! I have bought everything off of E-bay for my car. You can get a lot of things cheaper there. I bought the tail lights and the same front strut bar ($15) that you are probably talking about and I love it. It's billet aluminium and I did notice a difference in the ride. As for tha tail lights I paid $100 for them. Have a great day and keep buying on E-bay.

I got my Altezza style gen 2 off Ebay, everyone hated them but I liked them, they leaked REAL bad. Was 100 bucks, I had a cracked right tail light, thought it was a cheap fix......strike one. Got some clear front corners, they do not sit flush as much as I like and the bulbs do not fit the best in the grommet, during heavy rain, I get some condensation....strike 2. Never wanted a 18 dollar strut tower bar, looks cheap and a waste to me, having a convert, I need the stiffness, for 18 bucks, might look pretty, but doubt it is functional. Just my 2 cents. As usual, just passing on my experience. Sometimes you get good stuff on Ebay, sometimes you don't.[:(!]
