I ran a self-diagnostic on my 1992 325i M3.1 (see http://www.bonnevillemotorwerks.com/fault.html) and came up with error #1221. The code refers to an error with EGO sensor #1. I think this is the oxygen sensor b/c code #1264 refers to the EGO heater. The O2 sensors on the 3-series have a heater which heats the tip of the sensor for more efficient/accurate readings.

Does this concur with my assumption of an O2 (EGO?) sensor malfunction?
