engine temp indicator

hey guys,

im an owner of a 96 318is.i was wondering wat the ideal position of the needle should be for the engine temp indicator.currently it lies in the middle during normal drivin.

offlate i have noticed a slight deviation to the right while driving in the day.is dat normal? I hail from UAE(middle east), Dubai.it gets extremely hot!

also ne advice on performance upgrades would be appreciated!

Normal Operating Temperture Is Between The Two Colored Zones. The Needle May Tend To Reach To The Red Zone When The Ambient Temperature And /or The Engine Load Is Very High. Bmw Recommends Cooling Change Every Three Years Also Use Antifreeze Specified By Bmw For The Aluminum Radiators. Your Temp
Gauge Is Normal.
