engineswap from 2.5L m50 -> 3.0L m54

Does anyone know if the m54 3.0 L engine will fit in an E36? If it does what other mods will i have to do to make it spin?

Im askin cause i have found a brand new M54 engine with 0 KM

while I've never done this, I'm sure you will need M54 motor mounts, M54 exhaust, M54 ecu, and mabe and M54 subframe. (I'm not sure about the last one)
