Euro Headlights

#2
I have those. Fast shipping and they look great, except for the angel eyes. If you like to do a little custom fabrication work and have a dremel and some other tools you can make them work really well. if you install a few 10,000 mcd hyper white leds and then put the whole unit back together and seal everything real well with silicone they won't leak and the angel eyes look great. however, if you don't want to do all the work, just take the hit and spend the extra $400 or whatever it is to get the real ones.

Ok, I've found the lights that I want. Now, does anyone know where I can get a Plug and Play connector?

More Questions:
Also, whats the difference between the types of bulbs (9006, h7, h1)? Will they all fit into my euro headlights? Can i use a HID type bulb with my stock wiring? [???1]

RE: Headlight Questions

Hey guyz,
Just a little info for you. Those types of light bulbs, 9006, h7, h1 basically they are different housing types. Not a huge difference between them all. Yes you can upgrade to HID w/ any of the 3. Try WWW.PROXENON.COM and you can get more headlight, angel eye and Plug n Play wiring info and products from WWW.UMNITZA.COM Hope this helps, I'll post pics of my new chrome housing euro's soon.

I have the lights that you linked to on eBay and they're awesome, especially for the price. I haven't installed the angel eyes that came with them yet, but everything is plug'n'play - no need for additional connectors.

Bought the lights off of e-bay for 244 which includes shipping. Great price as i recently bought replacement lenses for my Grand Cherokee ($600.00). Left one cost more than the right one as the company has learned that the left one is the primary lense broken in an accident.

Anyhow, when i get the lights and install them i will post the results.

Cheers,

this might be a little off the topic

well, this might be a little off the topic but i recall hearing something about if you swap out your old head lights for a set of Euro Ellipsoid and put in the HID angel eyes you won't have enough room to install a super charger or a CAI? any input on this would be appreciated. thanks.[???1]

For the inner pimp in you.[;)]
Will find out soon i hope. Ordered the sc from RMS back in December and still have not heard from them. Subsequent phone calls to RMS received nice condolences as they (RMS) is awaiting parts. That was 10 days ago.

Have the euro elipsoids, bought the angel eyes seperately out of England.

Will report back when all parts are received and i have performed a test fit.

Cheers,
Bill

Ok people,
Will have the angel kit in the next 14 days as they are being shipped/mailed from England. As for the sc kit, RMS had to change vendors for some of their parts. Per RMS they are as disgusted as i am, but they, as do i, insist on quality products. They will not release their kit unless the quality is 100% solid/esthetically and perfect per their specs. For $6 big ones, i would hope not. Hopefully, i shall receive their kit next week. I have the elipsoid headlamps on hand. Really not much different than what i have on my '96 328i. Ordered the clear blinkers in addition to a presurized brake bleeder from Bavarian Auto Parts.

Keep the faith and Cheers,
