Fog light bulb replacement

I've been trying to remove my fog light on a 323is and I cannot get the fog light out. Do you need a skinny screw driver or something to push the release?

hmm

remove the entire fog light first ..it has a mechanical ejection mechanism, just press and it will pop,, disconnect the the energy wire aswell. Bring the entire fog light out, thats what i did..

open the removable back cover by applying a twist motion force. Then u will see a thin solid wire that is like a lock, it keeps the bulb in position and prevents it to go out,you have to move that solid wire so you can take the bulb out

I tried doing this by putting myself under the car the first time, OMG i suffered, 2nd time i just ejected the entire foglight, tookme half the time to fix it

Use the screwdriver from your trunk kit, with flat end. It reaches just enough to pop the lock, through the hole in the front grille.

There are 2 slots where I can insert the screwdriver. Do I use the one on top or bottom. Also, I can't see a release to hit. Is it toward the engine or bumper?
