[cheers] Its been said that Red Line's SI-1 Fuel Additive is the best on the market and the best to use in BMW. I've used it in my 05 525i and 03 325xi and have had no problems. It seemed to eliminate a slight hesitation when first starting off in the 03..........any suggestion or recommendations?

[driving] I'm using SI-1 in both the 525 and 325 and see no reason to stop. The label states to use it after 5 fillups or 100 gallons. I guess I can cut that number down to a couple of fillup. Thanks BD

If your not having any noticable problems every fifth fillup is ok, I am not religious about it, sometimes I forget (age I guess) and it goes maybe four or five before another shot. I just bought a case last month at 25% off and free shipping.....woot woot!

Is it good to use on the M? I have alway been leary of fuel additives. Will work well and help my car get better performance/gas mileage? Sounds like good stuff...

Redline SI-1 came highly recommended to me years ago when I had an 84 733i. It cleaned up the injectors and the car smoothed out nicely. I have used it in all my cars including the M. I had a freind who bought a 80's model Corvette that had less than 20k on it (obviously parked for years), in fact thte car had the original tires (weather checked) on it. When he got it home and new tires it hesitated badly at higher rpms. We added a triple dose of SI-1 and in less than 20 minutes driving down the highway the hesitation was gone.
