Any pics of how they looked on the car before you removed them? Never seen the smoked pics. I just have the clear ones and stock tail lights. Were the smoked turn signals the ones that look like they have a circle in the middle? You know though, I have never bought non OEM lenses.....tail lights, corner lights.....well....besides the side markers....that would not leak water. I am pretty much done with the light game. Wish I had some pics though, thought smoke might look good on a black car.

sorry carcus but i didn't even bother taking pictures because they looked like a joke. btw any smoked corner, sidemarkers, or tail lights are not oem parts....the manufacturer's of bmw parts only make the clear parts. .....oh yeah the smoked lights did fit like shit!!! [rofl]

Wow, that really sucks man. I'd figure that'd look pretty decent. I actually bought aftermarket clear corners and they've work out great. They haven't leaked and they fit perfectly. Maybe I just got lucky.

I am in the process of selecting new corners, so I'll post some of the pics I found. Smoked corners can be medium-rare, or well-done [;)]

Here's one that's smoked lightly, which blends pretty well with dark-tone paint:

Sorry they didn't work out, all the B.S. with removing, shipping back!
Tell me they weren't from Bavarian Autosport-I've been thinking about ordering their front corner markers!
Any feed-back on those??

Most Wired! "Not so smoked" Those seem O.K. , might look good on my black '95-kind of subtle, without that halloween orange look on the corner, may even blend w/ headlight cover.
What do you think? If good-where did you find them?
Still don't know about Bav. Auto. I've dealt w/them in past and very easy to work with.

Those were really clears, a bit toned down. The eyebrows make 'em look darker. You can get a set of OEM BMW clear corners from Bekkers Import for under 50$ a pair (coupe), and a pair of light-smoked ones for about 60$:

Thanks. By "a bit toned down" -You mean in relation to the others, not something you did to them, correct?
-Mel
Don't mean to sound like an idiot (can't help myself) just want to do it right the first time.

True, Mel. They're not exactly clear-white, that's all (those look ugly on dark paint cars, IMO). Although I've seen ppl "toning" their clear corners with paint, blow torches and the like. Don't try this stuff at home [:)]

I have lightly smoked corners and tails, and my car looks beast. My car is also black. I think it looks so much better than those dman ambers that stick out so much. When i get home I will post a pic of my car. I have to admit that if you don't have ellipsoid headlights than the smoked would look kinda wierd, but you have to check out my pics.

here is my pic I promised

This isn't a very good picture. It doesn't do what it looks like any justice. It looks so sweet., but This gives you an idea. Just so you know the car is on the tow truck, when the tires got slashed.

Mein Ritt,
(My Ride?) Those look good, I love the 5 spokes!! Had Borbet 5 spokes on my Miata-nice looked great! (They look better on a black German car of course!)
Why is She on a flatbed tow truck?

Random thoughts here:
Look at all the views v.s. posts!
I'm assuming you guys with black cars use the Cal. Duster!
