got some questions tires and glovebox

1995 325i

1. I ran up a regular sized curb at about 25 miles an hour. Would that mess anything up? I have the high performance tires.

2. I have a squeak in my dash. How do I take my glovebox compartment out to get behind it and oil some of that up so it doesn't sqeak anymore?

3. when I let go of the gas, I don't cruise until I slow down. I can actually feel myself slowing down rather quickly. Again, is there something wrong? or is it just downshifting and slowing it down.

The most I'm concerned about is the squeaking, I KNOW it's coming right by the air bag when I punch it so i want to take the fuzzy glovebox thing out and spray WD-40 all up in there or whatever I need to fix it.

Sorry i fogot the other problem, with the slowing down problem, from what you describe i think i know exactly what you are talking about. I would say, if your car has higher mileage, or the clutch has been driven hard in it's life, that the clutch is just showing the signs of old age, not yet failure. Mine is starting to do it ('93 125k) my girlfriends ('92 135k) was doing it really really bad compared to mine now, and she had to get a clutch put in. Her dad also owns KC autosport, BMW and volvo exclusive repair.

the most likely problem would be either a bent rim, or busted steel band in your tire. Watch the tire you hit for bulges in the side.

Other than that, just take a glance at your suspension components, but if you don't feel any rattling, or shaking, I wouldn't be too concerned.
