Would love to see alot more posts. You guys have alot of good info. Seems the board gets slow at times. Don't be shy.......hey, I post when I can, but feel like a hog. Come on all, lets see some new people posts, lets see some help from us posters. Even if it is a try, lots of info here. We got to liven the message board up!!!!!

I still miss MadMike...he used to get the board going....even if he pissed a few people off....was funny to read his posts.[;)]

Hell, lets pool together, sometimes I feel like a part time moderator....LOL.

The best thing I get is helping people...and people helping me. I am by no means a BMW mechanic, I had a BMW 316, this is my second BMW. Owned a Porsche 914 euro spec...still love VW...even after owning a early Passat.....still want a Ghia Convert...god hard to come by. Most of my experience is with RWD V8 muscle cars. But over the years and stationed in Europe alot....I have owned my share of Alfa, Fiat, BMW, Porsche, Audi....I learned to drive on a Audi Fox....lol...if anyone remembers them. Even had a Jeep and a HONDA!!! Lets pump up the E36 posts[thumb]

Hell, just look forward to reading posts when I get off work and the days off.....something to look forward to....even if I am wrong, just try to help.

Although I tend to call BS alot on some over the edge stuff.....I learn from all the posts.[thumb]

The mods are pretty cool here and they do give us alot of freedom.....I can't remember a locked post in a while.[;)]

Sorry, just blithering, wish I had someone to post a few good BMW vids for me....have some good stuff also. Some over 100 megs.[thumb]

Good call!
I am AMAZED at a question that has 100 views and 2 comments! Not even an opinion! A little participation would be good. A few comments, or simply "Hey,I've noticed that too!"
If someone finds a little trick I think they should pass it on! (the Silver Stars for example!!) That was a good post! Made me think about the dark roads and maybe just a little more light out front.....
I un-wind here like a few others do. I watch the late news, pour a drink (or 2) and try to learn as much about my car as I can. I don't have any wisdom to impart so I don't add to what others reply unless I can help.
I really think this is the best BMW site out there(I've checked!) A little comradarie would go a long way-we're all in this together.

I agree with Mel. I discovered a way of increasing the light output of those crappy little light bulbs people have in their pre-95 keys and making it way brighter so I posted tons of pictures and detailed instructions on just EXACTLY how to do it. I wish more people would do stuff like that. I've seen people do it on a lot of other boards (not car boards, mainly PC computer boards) For instance, I know a lot of people do a lot of DIY work, why not photo every step you do and then display it on here. I would LOVE for someone to show me how to replace my micro cabin filter with pictures instead of just words. Just my two cents, wait, that's carcus's line

I'll try to post more in here. Mostly I just read and learn about my car. I have no idea how to do stuff on my car, much less a good place to work on it. I like learning how my car works. I wish I was able to put more into my car than just gas. I'll post what I know, but it won't be much.

First off, thanks for the support guys and I really appreciate everyone participation on the forum. If there is anything you would like me to do on my part, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Comrade1, MadMike's account has been removed for his constant disruptive behavior on our forums.

Wow no way. I guess he was getting a little too offensive.

I remember there used to be a do-it-yourselfer section. Maybe there still is but I can't find it...I would like to see it on the board again.

okay, here's a good a few suggestions to get people in the swing of things! Before and After pics, plans for modding, what was the last thing that you did to your car, compiling a detailed info/spec sheet on your car...just a few friendly suggestions! These things seem to keep us endlessly amused on DTM and the flow-on effect is crazy. :)

I agree, I have posted here from time to time, but not much. I dont really use any other bimmer boards, but I was actually thinking about finding a different one earlier today because someone can post something and a day later there are tons of views but no replies...I will do what I can to help...even if it is ask questions since I dont know a lot about car stuff, but I am learning quite a bit!
