Heated Seat not working.

Guys, it's getting real cold here and my heated seats are not working anylonger. You press the button and the light lits up but the seat doesn't heat up at all. Anybody knows how to fix this problem? Help [?|] [?|] [?|] [?|] [?|] [?|]

After time the wires in your seats break from all the contracting and expanding they do, you would have to rewire your seats for em to work... I know someone actualy did that... Or take the easy way out, buy seats that work, you can proly use seats from e46 or so, they go for $300-600 on ebay.

Anybody have any success in repairing the driver seat heat element/wiring? Is this a complex endeavor or not too bad? It is cold here and my arse be frozen to the leather.

Never done it, in my 94 they always worked great, in my 92 the lights light up when i press em and they stay lit but I think they arnt really working... why are my lights lit up but the heated seats are not working does that mean that i have another problem?

Bunch of babies, and your heated seats [:p]

Sure sounds like it just needs to be replaced. There might be a chance the system isnt getting enough power??

I always use to say the same thing about butt warmers. "Why in the world would you need something like that - just suck it up." My parents have always bought cars with leather seats, and I never really thought that heated seats were needed. But, after my parents bought a 2002 Impala LS with heated leather seats - oh man! They are incredible - I will always get heated seats from now on if I have the option!

See, that's why you buy the black leather interior, it could be 10 degrees out but if the sun is out, your seats are already warm [:p]
