k first off, does anyone know if the red/clear aftermarket taillights that go on ebay for around $100 have the wiring thats necesarry for the computer. Cause i wouldnt want my new clear taillights say Break Light Failure even tho it would work. And second, sometimes while im driving i get 4 random beeps and then it goes away, does anyone know what this could be!?

I just put in the new tail lights for my 318i 1993 and they work great, no problems. As far as the beeps, does anything come up on your computer when it beeps? next time have a look.

Your car will beep if the memo is on in your on board 'puter at a minute before the hour. It's telling you to change the radio so you catch the news. It also beeps if its less than 38 degrees to tell you that roads may be freezing. It also beeps as ginoman says when the 'puter wants to tell you something.
What's wrong with the OEM lights, save your money to go snowboarding two more days this winter. If you are intent with buying the clear lights be careful and get quality and a warranty. Seen quite a few notes here about leaks in the aftermarket lights.

or u might have speed limit set and it will beep at u when u go like 2 miles over the speed limit u set
