I have current problem with getting the idle to adjust. The mechanic highly skilled said he thinks that the air flow sensor(air mass meter) ,as he calls it, may be out.
My question is can this meter be the reason why he can not get the idle adjustment within specifications and stop the car from stalling. He suggest buying a used air mass meter given that a new one is quite expensive.]
The car runs fine it just will not idle while stopped.
Any suggestions or recommendations to diagnosis and fix this problem.
