What high performance tires are you all running on your car now?
I'm looking forward to throwing my winters in the lake and finding a decent high performance tire this spring. [burnout]

I am running Khumhos. 225 x 18 x 45's. All 4 corners. Great tires. Can run flat for over 60 miles. I know because my wife blew out a rim and khumo after running over a bolder in New Mexico. She didn't know she had blown the tire. I thank the man upstairs for keeping it all together while she made it from Toas to Red River N.M.

Dan is right on, how much do you want to spend. I have used Yokohama, Kumho, Michelin and Toyo's. The Michelin's were the most expensive, almost twice the price of Kumho's but only last about half as long. The trade off is handling, although I have to say the Kuhmo's are a great street tire and preform well. (I currently have them on the roadster) The Toyo's in my opinion are the comination of the two, middle of the group in price and handle as well as the Michelins.

I've got Toyo Proxes T1-S and I love 'em... great traction in wet and dry (especially dry)... have never slid in wet conditions unless I'm being stupid. Very quiet tires too, nary a sound even at speeds 100+ mph
