i'm looking to replace my foglights with the hoen xenon match bulbs but i'm concerned about possible problems. the hoen foglight bulbs are rated at 80w while the factory bulbs are 55watts. will this increas in wattage cause problems with the wiring harness, etc. i know somw bulbs can fry the wiring systems. what do you guys think?

I just installed some Hoen xenonmatch bulbs on my 1997 328is. For only $30 they are well worth it. They dont look exactly like xenons, but can definitely tell the difference. Very inexpensive alternative to HID's. I heard they last pretty long too.

i emailed hoen usa but they couldn't give me any feedback on the h1 bulbs because they no longer make them. TCGray did you replace your low beam bulbs or your foglights?

I recently purchases a set of Sylvania Silver Star bulbs to replace the OEM's and have been very satisfied with the effect and improved light. They are, in my opinon the closest thing to true xenon's without the true xenon upgrade price.....I paid $30 for a two pack on sale.
