Huge Starting Problem

Hi guys, I have a 97 328is....when i started the car today, it started and stalled right away. The only way i can keep it running is when i press the gas pedal while starting it and after starting it. I have to keep pressing it for a few minutes for the car to actually stay on.


What should i do to get that fixed. Any info is appreciated.

Wow, I'm suprised this happened to a 97! I think you should give us a little bit more info. Is the car running very rough? Is the car very loud? Noises are extremely important in diagnosing it. Things I would check is to make sure your spark plugs or coil packs aren't bad. Please give us more info and we can give you the rest

For the past month or so, the car has been starting pretty rough only in the morning when it is cold. Also, the exhaust and engine are louder than usual. The spark plugs and wires were changed about 10k miles ago by a dealer.
