I went over a curb..Help!

I accidently took my week old 96 328iS over a curb..well, i was at an extremely low speed..just started the car but I did hear a lot of ugly noises. I got out and saw that there were no dents and e'thing looked fine.

And beside, i tried looking under the car..seemed fine..no dangling parts or leaks. And the drive back home was as good as ever...

But I'm just so paranoid now and am unable to work..should I get it inspected?? Or will it be ok..?

If you gently went over a curb, not a real tall one you may be alright, however I would have her put up on a rack and just look around. You do not need a dealer for this, try some local garage and tell them what happened. They may charge a few bucks, but I would do it.

Actually, I think it was less than 5 mph as I had just pushed the pedal...Is there anything I should watch out for..? And can I take it to any mechanic or a BMW one.

Any mechanic will be OK. In my recollection, things that hang low and could have been damaged:
- Lower steering components - ball joints, steering rack
- Oil Pan
- Exhaust - check for crushed tube = restricted exhaust

That's all I can think of.
