im new to BMW and need HELP...

ok guys i just purchased 92 325i bmw froma old women it has 205,000 miles not kilometers! the car runs good. when im at a stop light after a while of driving it feels like the engine is jumping its not making anynoise u just feel the enitre engine moving not really bad but a lil thump.also at times when making a lfet turn u hear a knockin noise coming from the rear end . i was thinking gear lube? i have all records on this car and it was kept very well. also u smell anti-freeze once in a while i bought the car for $1,200.my cuzzin just had a 80'something bmw with 400+k miles.. and the motor still worked but the elcetrical went out... guys please help me out thanks. wes

forgot one more thing when u take off the car has a lil stutter up unitl aroun 27002800 rpm the motor doesnt Knock or anything thnaks Again....

Wish I could help but I didn't even know what horsepower was until a few years ago.

I'm worse than women when it comes to knowing about cars. I blame the free maintainence programs because they do all that work for you hehe...

Most likely a busted engine mount. Had the same symtoms with my Jeep.
As for smelling antifreeze, that's a heater core leaking. Many dealership $$$$ Unless you have the time and mechanical ability to take on the task.

God forbid if it is a heater core. Those things are pain in the @$$.....

I dread heater cores....
