haha

you can squeeze 18's on an E36, but they look really huge IMHO. Also you need to have the money ready to get some super low profile tirse so you don't rub, and then in turn be super super careful around pot holes. We can go up to 245 in the rear, and 235 in front, but be weary of rub, otherwise you'll have to roll your fenders, which isn't that bad.

but like epj said, don't rice it.

I like the car by the way.
IF I were shopping for a replacement I would go for the six.
My brother bought a new one and offered me this car if I took over the payments. Nothing towards the equity /maint./wheels he has invested.
He financed the car at a very nice rate, and in a few months it will be mine.
Great deal! (he must like me or something)
Great car! I like German autos. Liked my Audi Coupe GT, my M.B.190E. ( that said I've had good luck with Volvo, and Peugeot as well) I just like German cars.
(also '85 crx, Nissan pulsar, 260 Z, Honda Accord-yes..I've had some riceburners-but look at a 20 year old Jap. car-not quite as classic as a 20 yr. old German car)
Yeah-I love my BMW.

Not interested in 0-60 times, flat out speed. Am happy with a car that does the twisties well & can get out of it's own way while at the same time won't embarrass me when my wife and I go out to dinner. It's comfortable-H*LL-you know what I'm talking about!!
Now if I could just get cursor to stop vibrating, and lose the activity on my right......

Hey fellaz can't we all just get along....if you guys think that putting 18" on a BMW is ricy maybe you should put some extra hours in at work so you can afford a set to put on your bimma(BMW) and then you let me know if it is to ricy. Don't say things are to ricy if you can't afford them! Oh! to answer dinan question I'm not black and I am not white so you fill in the answer___________(hint: the color that you try to be in the summer) Oh again, EPJ3 back off a little i'm just trying to let your boy know what the deal was and who cares what the hell your grandpop does??????What you think your grandpop was the only one that worked hard....You guyz must be some white boyz from the sticks!!! Anyway lets stop this drama and save it for your mamas and lets get back to BMW material!!! [boxface]

Damn, you guys scared the poor guy away, not like he was doing anything "outlandish" with his BMW.

18 inch rims, nothing wrong with that, they look nice and if you have good roads, will work fine.

Lowered.....come on now guys, nothing wrong with lowering the car, not like people do not put sport suspention kits on BMW's for a little drop.

Adding tint.....nothing wrong with tint, hell, that reminds me, I need some tint for the summer.

Adding a system......well, the stock one pretty much sucks, this guy just wanted to do some standard stuff. Also, being stationed in Mississippi, there are not many places to find BMW parts or get advice, so I can get a feel where he was coming from.
