ELECTRONIC GURUS-HELP!
THE CLOCK IN MY '95 M3 HAS GONE DIM-IN THE SUNLIGHT YOU CAN STILL READ THE TIME, AND IT IS CORRECT, BUT THERE IS NO LIGHT. I KNOW ITS AN LED UNIT, BUT CAN IT BE FIXED ARE REPAIRED? THE SUGGESTION FROM MY SUPPOSEDLY ELECTRONICALLY LITERATE BUDDY IS I HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE INFO DISPLSY MODULE?! ANY THOUGHTS ARE APPRECIATED!

I'm not 100% sure of the 95, but the 96 and 97 (the ones with the Simple and Advanced OBC to the left of the clock) have backlight bulbs behind the unit that can be replaced by the technician. It's a pretty easy process. So long as all the segments of the display work, you shouldn't have to replace the unit.
