But not too bad when it comes down to it.

First got the new 325 home last night, car ran for over 5 hours continous without a hitch...it was only a 3 hour drive but since I could not get a battery prior to leaving I had to just keep the car running.

It ran great all the way home...figured out some of the stuff as I drove. I like it alot well worth the price and should be a super car.

Now for the stuff I need to address.
1. Brake curcuit on the OBC (which was in another thread, Thanks!)
2. Need to find a battery, I think NAPA had the correct one.
3. Radio code..sound pretty common. How do I get the code to get sound back?
4. Owners manual...looking at one on ebay.
5. Warning lights...without owners manual I don't know what they are...
6. Lights which are one:
A: ABS
B; Check
C: Engine check
D: One with a circle and dashes around it
E: Triangle with an arrow circled around it

So if anyone can help me out with the light ahead of getting a manual..it would be appreciated.

I have a used car warrenty with the car so most of the items will be done by a local import repair shop, but I would like to fix the radio, get a battery and fix the brake switch real soon so I can drive it.

Thank

George

I would reccomend getting an optima battery, it has been great to me so far, no complaints and I heard other people praising it also.
The ABS light might just be a dirty sensor so you should check that out.
The Check light would be triggered by the Brake circuit so you should be able to kill two birds with one stone.
Check engine light is a mistery to me, could be a lot of things, maybe just the oxygen sensor.
Circle and dashes around it, I have no clue, don't think I have seen that one at all.
Triangle with an arrow is the traction control, you might just need to adjust the cable.
Hope I helped a little. Enjoy the car.

You have to call a BMW dealer and give them the vin# and they should give you the code

Good choice

Same as #1 brake sensor - you have to get a reset tool to reset the light

Your radio code should actually be on the radio itself, You'll need to pull out the deck and the code will be on a sticker on the radio.

For the radio thing a small percentage have the radio code written on the back. The dealership was to remove this sticker left there from the factory and apparently some just left it. It wasn't on the back of mine, so what you need to do is pull the deck anyway so that you can get the serial number engraved on the metal plate. If you call enough dealers i'm sure you'll find one that will give it to you over the phone..

Until I get a owners manual can someone tell me how to set my clock on the OBC? Its driving me nuts!

Also on the radio I called and got my radio code and it did not work...I did just as the service department said but no go...so I bought an Alpine this morning and fixed the whole problem.

There you go.. to set the clock I believe you hit SET/RES then you hit CLOCK. Or vice versa. It has to do with those two buttons. Then once you get to the point to enter the time, use the 4 numbered buttons at the far left to input the time. Then press SET/RES again..
