hey wood e do you like your sho casue it seems like it would be an interesting car. also is it reliable. [hatchet]
Yeah I like it. It is always nice to have a semi-rare car around. I love to see the looks on peoples faces when I blow past them in little drag races around town, plus its like the cheapest car I could find that can do 145mph with no problems. The sound of the secondary intake runners at 4,000 rpm is a delightful sound as well... puts a grin on my face every time.... oh and the 7,200 RPM redline is nice for a V6...

As for reliability the subject is all relative to how well it has been kept up. Any car will be reliable if you maintain it properly. Personally in a year and 25,000 miles it has left me stranded once. The pervious owner decided to niglect important maintenance items, so I put $2500 into it to bring it up to snuff. I did most of the work myself and I have learned tons about the engine and other engines in general. They're really fun cars to have... and if I could I'd keep my sho as a winter car and have a BMW for summer fun, but I guess I have to wait until I'm out of college for that

Dont sweat the Tarus, Marc. Not all enthusiast can have the best car in the world. And to add to this thread, Lucas is no good for the BMW. If it was, Bimmer would have used it from the factory.

Exactly...

I might have a different car but for the most part I know what I'm talking about. When a timing chain's tensioner gets won the chain gets some slack, and that causes noise and in extreme cases the chain can break which is no good...

Like I said before, I'd check the teniosner...
