Why is too many people in the States with a M50 manifold installed in their 328's. Must I think that BMW made a mistake with the manifold in the 328 so the owners make this mod to obtain more power?

Comments will be appreciated.

BMW didn't make a mistake. It was all part of newer, tougher emission standards over here. THey HAD to make their emissions more environment friendly. SO what BMW did was increase displacement from 2.5L to 2.8L to offset the more restrcitive intake manifold. That's why the 328 only gained 1 HP, however, the greater increase in torque is why the 328 is considerably quicker off the line than the 325

double check that part number. it is the OEM plug from the dealer
What do you think VANCE if a european multithrotle intake (e36 m3) is installed on an M52 engine, I allways make this question myself.

Thanks for the plugs info!

I don't think that it's possible. There is a possiblity of a swap, along with other odds and ends of the S52 intake onto the S52US or the S50 onto the S50US. However, that would require that you have an American M3 motor to begin with, which is not the case.
