missfire on idle

what can this be i've ripped the engine apart 3 times now and its solved NOTHING i brought the car as it was with a k&n cone filter and aparently a boost valve but cant find that anywhere any pics on where it should be would be gratefull please help ur be number 1 in my book thanks Phil

boost valve if i remember correctly is just a fuel pressure regulater so should be somewhere around the injector rail as for the misfire could be that or amillion and one other things see if u can get it plugged in some where with a good ecu reader

yeah ive checked everywhere for it i can't fint it dont think it has to be honest

missfire could be alot of different things take it somewhere with a snap-on scan tool or better and get them to plug it in if a sensor is down then it should show up but expect to pay about 40quid just to plug it in, i had to fix 1 of my cars with out plugging it in and it cost me a whole new ignition system before i found the fault if u want a rough idea it could be any sensor and even then it could be something else happy hunting
