My hood is melting

Does anybody know where I could get some good, yet affordable hood insulation.....my hood is melting. It is warping and the paint is oxidizing and melting directly above the exhaust, but on the outside. I NEED INSULATION FAST!!! And if you konw where some exhaust wrap/insulation is.....that would help.

i have some in my car. come by with a crowbar and you can have it just in time for the police chase!!!

police chase?.........What kind of insulation-> for the hood or the exhaust? And Where did you get it?

its stuff called 50:50 bond its designed for boats and i picked it up a few years back from a sale at a local boat shop ( sorry i can't spell chanderlers) so i suppose you could look around locally for some.
