I have a '93 325is, and when i accelerate 75% or more in 2nd starting around 4k rpm, it starts to chatter. if i continue, it gets louder, and worse. If i back off, then do again, samething. This only occurs in 2nd gear. This started around the same time my Rear wheel bearing went bad. i thought the problems were related, but when i got the bearing fixed, it didnt cure the chattering problem.
Almost feels like there's a tooth missing, but it only does this when i'm accelerating hard.
