Hi everyone, I've got a friend with with a 1994 325is, at 220k mileage. about half of the gauge cluster bulbs have gone out and its starting to look pretty dark. I've looked around online for new gauge cluster bulbs and they show up as 2721's, except I cannot find that that much of those bulbs in that model number. What I need is new BMW cluster bulbs, the exact same brand bulbs BMW uses so we can still keep the amber red and orange lights.

Can anybody provide me with a link that'll lead me to a fresh new set of cluster bulbs? I would greatly appricate it!

Thanks in advance!

Same thing happened to my car, your going to have to go to the dealership.

I believe it was like 3-4-5 dollars a bulb depending on which one. On the back of your cluster theres a bunch of different bulbs, some have a green base or black or brown base. If I remember correctly the brown ones are for the majority of the lighting, like the tach and speedometer and that stuff, then they have smaller lights for the warning lights. I ended up spending like 30 some odd dollars.

If you need help installing them just ask, you dont have to remove the steering wheel like people tend to believe.

Oh, and the bulbs arn't the thing that makes the cluster orange, its the gauges.

Oh so theres a colored layer to make it orange, ahead of the bulbs? I was actually wondering if they did that or not.

I've actually worked on my gauge cluster in my honda before, replaced the stock one with an Interga GSR cluster, however that required rewireing. But yeah getting the cluster in and out should be no problem for me.

Thanks for the advice man, I'll see what I can dig up.

appricate it

John
