Hey everyone, first post here -- seems like a nice bimmer hangout [cheers]

Anyways, finally got my first car a few days ago (been driving my brother and dads car for quite some time now), it's a '92 325i Convertible. It's in excellent shape, got a great deal on it, and runs awesome.

Just had some quick, maybe dumb questions. First of all, since it is a '92, and thats when the E36's were released and the convertible is still on the E30 chasis, I should be looking at E30 parts right? Also, it is an automatic, which isn't very fun, how difficult would it be to convert to a 5-speed manual?

Thanks in advance [burnout]

Yeah, E30 parts.

As for a 5spd conversion, don't waste your time. It can be done, but if you wanted one you should have bought it to begin with. It's more work and money than you are interested in investing in a '92, I assure you of that.
