i say this argument comes to an end now. not cause your 15 yr old self beats me at 15 in the realm of mechanical knowhow, but because i can see you become more and more childish with each and every post and i'm trying to save a little face for everybody.

And a childish and very ignorant post like this, "maybe i can be fortunate enough to get in a head on someday, then i can be at your mechanical level." warrants an even more childish post (though wasn't childish, was simply stating the reason I did what I had to do)

The biggest concern I would have about putting 600-1000 hp. in the E36 chassis would be the weakness in the rear subrame and the potential for failure.

The subframe on non-M E36 models has experienced numerous failures, typically associated with track use and modified suspensions.

Here is a good list of known E36 problem areas:

- - failed ball joints
- - failed water pumps
- - leaking or sticky VANOS unit
- - bad ignition coils that take the ECU with them
- - failed subframe-to-body mounts
- - failed rear shock mounts
- - failing fuel pumps
- - power window problems
- - blistering door panels

Do a search on "E36 rear subframe" and you'll find plenty of information.
