Well i need some advice really. i currently have an E30 325i SE. as you can see i live in england so there all EURO spec. it has 150k miles on the clock and its time to move on but. i have the choice. E36 325i/328i sport or a year old seat leon cupra R the R has 210bhp 18" alloys as standard 6disc changer etc. it has all the electronic aids and hits 60 in under 7secs in standard tune. the engine is good for a reliable and cheap 350+bhp and the car has huge 4 piston brembo breaks as standard. i do prefer the bimmer as it is RWD and well its a BMW but the seat is almost new. i do alot of miles on twisty roads and i know both cars to be good fun but my over all want from the car i get is to be fun and fast round the twisty stuff but also to anihalate most other cars on the road bar the M's porsches etc. the seat comes out around £7-£8k with 10k miles and the BM i can get for 5k with 100kmiles on a 94 car rising to well you know what these cost. im not new to the bimmer scene but have never driven or owned an E36 given what i have got and want to keep the car for a good few years which woul you choose. (as unbiased as poss please[:D] ) [driving] [burnout] [driving]

tough call as the seat is a lil killer and really worth a try. but what i don't know is how much luxury the car can give you for all your driving. it seems you take it long trips daily and i think, taking all sportiness into condideration, the seat might shake the bones out of you sooner or later. did you test drive it? that would be first.

for the E36 328 (cause you have to with that one in case you decide for the bimmer) the power is decent. the car will not be much slower than the seat.

a veeery big point indeed is the milaege that cars have. 100kmiles is not much for a bimmer, but compared to 10kmiles it is an old fart. now, ehwn i imagine that you have 150kmiles now and will switch to a 100kmiles car, that doesn't make sense.

overall it is a more economical decision to take the seat, but give it a testrun so you know what you will be with for the next years.
