All of my late-80's Mercedes cars seem to run OK only on 91 octane or more. I filled my 735iL with 87 octane and don't like the way it feels. Will it run better on fancier gas or is there something else going on? It has just the hint of a stumble off idle and the idle has just an edge or roughness to it.
