[scratch] Hi all!

I have an '03 325i that has 5400 miles, I will have had the car for 1 yr at the end of the month of Sep. Should I change the oil?
Is the Oil change interval at 15000 mi only, or does the dealer change it at one year regardles of the miles?
What about any other maintanance? do I need to change any other fluids or filters?

yes, change it at 1 year. I ran into the same problem. BMW will give you a free scheduled oil change at 15,000 miles (well, whenever the computer says so) or 1 year. Whichever comes first. Most dealers know this. If they give you a hard time, ask them to check again and ask BMW. Or, go to another dealer if possible. If they don't know that it's free, I wouldn't trust the dealer to do anything on your car since they obviously know nothing about BMWs.

eos? What's that?

Anyways, it's under the service warranty plan to change your oil at 15,000 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. 1 year with only 5400 miles doesn't come up that often so you'll have to specifically mention it's been 1 year. Do it when you schedule the oil change just in case.

I believe you actually have to schedule it after 1 full year has passed. I did it the day after or so.

For the 15,000 mile change, I believe you can bring your car in when the computer says 200 miles or less to go.

**Note: If they forget to reset the trip computer, you can get another free oil change. :) *** They forgot on my car. [clap]
