one touch window "up" doesn't always work?

hey everyone,

if any one can give any info on this I would appreciate it. I have both of my front window tinted and when I depress the window up side, the window only goes up about 1/4 of the way and then stops. I depress it again and it goes up just another fraction of the way and stops again. Any suggestions to a good fix?

I doubt it's related to the tint unless you applied it and it started right away. Sounds like the motor simply wore out.

I agree with epj3, the window motor is shot. I am dealing with the same problem on the wifes car, I need to replace the motors on both her windows. What I did until I get a chance to buy the new motors is unplug the switch. Last thing I wanted was the window stuck all the way down when the motor totally fried....then a nice southern rain storm.
