Hey,
I had a problem with the strip below the tail lights, it had some rust.. so bought some filler and patched it.. sanded it down then painted it with rust bullet... and then regular paint... Now it looks alright but you could see it was painted... and you have little dots on the paint... and the color isnt a perfect match altho I bought paint with the same color id.. What did I do wrong that I have those black dots on my paint? Why doesnt the color match? Did my color fade, is it how I painted it or is it just the cheap paint from pep boys?

Ps I wanted to paint my bumper and sideskirts to match but I guess that doesnt too well...

well, i am not sure why you'd have black dots...but maybe its dust, or something that stuck onto it while the paint was wet. as for the color matching, if its not from the same batch of paint that your car was painted with, then it will never be perfect, period. you can only get close. thats why touch up jobs suck, even if you take it to a body shop.
