Guys i dont know if this is the way it should be, but my right side door does not open when i use the key. I have an alarm that open both doors so i just notice this problem a few weeks ago. If i try the key on the drivers door it opens and unlocks but not on the passanger's, the key goes in but wont turn in any direction. Since i only have 1 key i am assuming that the door needs a different key, what u guys think

it is a 1995 325is

sounds like maybe someone put a new door handle on that side, and didn't swap out the lock. The key should open all the locks, unless it is the valet key. That will only open the drivers side door and start the car. So go see if you can unlock the trunk and the glove box w/ they key. If you can't than you are using a valet key.

maybe you should try and find out if your car was ever in an accident. Cuz maybe a whole entire door was replaced, and the old handle was not used. So they put in a new one and never intended for it to be opend w/ the key

maybe, or maybe it was just that part that was replaced, how can i check if it was involved in an accident,,

can i create a key for that door, or do i need a chip to open it?

yea, i already checked the vin number and it is the same for both doors, so i dont think it was involved in an accident. probably the right side door is supposed to be like that since BMW thinks we all can afford alarms to open it from a distance.
