just want to get an idea if many of you have purchased performance software for your e36. have you guys noticed significant gains with it? was it worth it in your opinion? i was looking at the jim conforti shark injector which goes for ~$350. is that a good price? [8]

that is what i paid for mine from tms..
you can tell a difference..throttle response is quicker, higher redline, quicker acceleration..and you have to use 93 octane$$$$
i also added the conforti cai(they are designed to go together) ..then i noticed eeverthing even more....hope this helps [thumb]

...also hit "search" on the top right of the page and look around

Still wondering, 350 bones for the Shark Injector...add another few c notes for the CAI...that is pretty expensive.....anyone have some REAL OWNER dyno to back up the bang for the buck and not the "It feels faster" thing?

Not a slam, just want to see some data posted.[;)]

i can get one for 300$ for my 325i '92. thats what this mechanic told me when i went to get my a/c fixed. i had forgotten but this reminds me, i wanna start thinking about again.
the guy told me 190hp to 205 and 188 ft-lb to 201. but he said the max hp only goes up about 15hp but that at lower on the rev range the gain is more than 15 which is where the car needs it. bc my car is sluggish in 1st and 2nd but after 3rd woah nothing stoping it.

Again, not what someone tells you it will give....need some real proof. Hell, K&N commercials say they give up to 20HP from a filter......ummmm......OK.[???1]
