I just bought a 1995 BMW 325I with 98,000 miles. And i messed up the convertible top by pulling the manual override lever, but im pretty sure i got the motor reset. then the back would go up alittle bit, but the cover lid would not open, is there a seperate motor for the cover lid? But then the top quit working again is it possible i blew a relay? If so I need a chart to know which one it is. I have checked the actual fuses, all appear to be good. I would like to know some other possible causes. I have tested the electricity to the motor in the driver rear finder in the trunk,(the one i reset after pulling the manual override lever.) and there is none so its not the actual motor.It's before there that i am losing the elctricity.I hope its something i can fix. Any input from any one would be appreciated.
