Question about fitment of e60 wheels on a e39. (help please)

Hey guys Im selling a set of 19" wheels from my 2004 525 and the person interested has a 1997 540. I called the dealership and they told me that the bolt pattern is the same but that the hub on the e39 is bigger, so they wouldn't work.

Is this true.? Is there any way to make the wheels work.?

What you need to do is find out the bolt pattern and size of the wheels. Or at the very least tell us exactly what wheels you're selling and we can tell you if it will work or not.
