im looking to drop and e36 m3 engine into my 94 325is. im hoping to do the 3.2 euro engine but the 3.0 would also be just fine with me. i just had a quick question for those of you who have dropped and m3 engine into your e36 bimmer. where did you get the engine from and how much did it cost you (not installation just the engine itself)??

for the e36 m3 i thought the u.s. version was a 3.0L and the euro version was a 3.2L. i was looking to get possibly a 95 m3 engine. something like that if you know what i mean. anywhere from maybe 95-98 around there dosent matter really.

I know a guy who does conversions for M3s. He'll take a euro-spec E36 3.2L 330 HP (not the US car, the 330 hp engine from europe) and put them in either E36 M3s or E30 M3s (which by the way are amazing) This guy does truly magnificent work. He shops around a lot for his engines plus he used to live in Germany so he knows the foreign languages. I could ask him some time where he got it. If you have any other questions I'll ask for his e-mail address because I forgot it already.
