My buddy put a new battery in his 99 328i, and forgot all about the code needed to activate the radio. he just started hitting buttons. ha! any way i told him he should have the code in his manual and he does, but the radio display just reads code wait. its been weeks and it still wont' allow us to punch in the correct code. any thoughts on what to do? tried taking it out completely, putting it in and waiting an hour and nothing. its a perfectly good radio and we hate to scrap it since we have the code!
