Guys i was wondering why my bass was not as same as before so i checked the fade and balance options and guess what, the right-end speaker doest do bass. I opened the cover and i saw the speaker all fooked because the sun burned the plastic to pieces. I was looking to replace the speaker but it is better to upgrade to better speakers right, i was aiming to put some 6 x 9 cause im not a huge fan of loud music, i just want good music inside the car while not disturbing neighbors, but 6 x 9 wont fit, i also saw some adapter for bmw that will make 6 x 9 fit on it, any ideas??????

Umm, don't know about the output question but 6x9's are kind of known for distorting sound since they are not round, go figure. Try crutchfield.com, they know a lot about this stuff and not much at the same so be carefull and know they work on commission.

dont call crutchfield...as he said they are trying to make money off you at any expense for you.

6x9's suck, period. dont buy them.

if you want bass, get a sub....anything that is not labeled a subwoofer is NOT meant to play bass frequencies. they are mids, and tweeters. your speakers are broken most likly because you had the bass up to high on the eq. live and learn, i did too.

i suggest replacing the speakers with better ones, and adding a 10" sub. its a cheap, good addition.
