Suggest if you are thinking of putting a SuperCharger in your BMW that you avoid RMS.
I am sorry that they cannot provide the support they have promised. I sent Osh (the CEO of the company) the following:
"Just as my faith in your company was rebounding, you had to spoil it. When you told me that you were sending out the replacement injectors last Thursday, i was truly looking forward to receiving them this week.
My call this afternoon confirmed my worst suspicions, you lied to me last Thursday. I also realized why you could not respond to my inquiry regarding a tracking number.
I am sorry sir, but the sooner we can resolve the bumps in the road that you and your associates have caused me to experience during the past seven months, the sooner our association can end.
Once again, will i be disappointed or can your organization respond with the shipping tracking number within the next 24 hours?
Any response is acceptable. Even if you wish to tell me to 'get fkuced'." [hatchet]

6 hours and still no response.

[cheers]

Update: Finally heard from the owner. They are shipping the injectors Next Day Air.
As for the size they are reported to be 28 pounders. According to RMS anything less is not advised for supercharged engines. Also, i did try 24 pounders and the car would not maintain idle, and the computer kicked out just about every code it had. The originial injectors RMS sent were 36 pounders. Result was continual flooding of the cylinders, raw fuel blowing out of the exhaust pipe.

Received the new injectors COD! (for shipping cost). Installed the 28.8 pounders, drove it 48 miles and had it stalling at every stop light, stop sign, and hard braking. I am beginning to think that the software program is for a manual trans not an automatic.
But the thought of upgrading the fuel pump is an interesting suggestion. Thanks.
Anyway, i ordered another set of injectors from Summit Racing. 30 pounders.
Right now i am to the point of tweaking the car. If the 30 pounders don't help i will be contacting Active Autowerke to check out how much they will charge me to reprogram my DME with their software.

Yeh, RMS said they reprogramed the ECU. The car hasn't run properly since receiving it back from them.
As for the size of the original injectors, i really do not know. Would have to check with the dealership unless someone on this forum knows.

And no, i did not upgrade the fuel pump, may have to though.

Thanks,
