According to the Haynes BMW 3-Series Repair Manual there is a typical relay carrier under behind left-hand side of dash. There is a relay for the crash alarm sensor relay which works with the[](RPS). Not all models relays present on all models it is worth checking out. I could not located a fault for the [/B](RPS) on my fault code reader/reset tool.
