Scan tool

I was reading through the Bavarian Autosport Cataloge and noticed they have a scan tool that looks like a good deal for about $150. I'm wondering if its a good deal first of all, and secondly are the better scan tools out there.

My car is a 94 325is (OBDI)

I bought a fault code reader/reset tool it works great i have a 1995 325 convertible. It is worth the money,as for anything better i do not know.
