Not quite sure about the front, guess I've never had them go noticibly bad. But the rears fail frequently and make a dull knocking sound when going over bumps.
if i jack my car up, something in the rear left "pops" hard. when i lower the car, it is level until i hit a bump hard. also, when i hit a bump hard, it "pops".
ahhh, if your ebrake is on when you jack your car up it will either pop on the way down or hold the left rear side of your car up at least an inch until you release it
