I am currently having problems with the smg gear box in our e36 m3. The problem occurred about 1 month ago, we took it bmw and they diagnosed the bowden cable needed replacing, and this was done. 3 weeks later the gear box is playing up again , we unable to go into reverse and all the gears are now flashing indicating that the gear box is shagged once more like last time. bmw are hinting it may need a new gearbox. Has anyone else had the similar problems with the smg?
